The louisiana Iris this year have been just beautiful. The high rainfall obviously agrees with them. Even the clumps that are overdue for re-siting have been spectacular.Behind the mauve iris in the photograph can be seen a white hippeastrum. This is the first year that the seedlings I raised from a lovely pure white parent have flowered. Some of them do have traces of red, especially on the back of the petals, but quite a number have been the clear white with a green throat that I was hoping for.
Biandar is for sale.
